An Assistant is an instance of a harness running on one of your connected servers. RelayCloud connects to the assistant, records its conversations, and lets you connect to it any way you want.

Agents

Each assistant can have multiple agents. An agent bundles common configuration into reusable profiles:
  • A system prompt that defines how the assistant behaves
  • A model preference for which model and provider it uses
  • Tool permissions that control what the assistant can do
When you start a conversation, you can select which agent the assistant should use. You can also add your own agents through the harness configuration.
