A workspace is a specific instance of a project deployed or running on one of your servers. Because a project can have many workspaces, you can run several instances of the same git repository at once — for example, one per task — each isolated on its own server.

Creating workspaces

On managed servers, you can provision workspaces from the web console or through MCP, and RelayCloud sets them up automatically. On self-managed servers, you can connect assistants to directories that already exist on the machine, but RelayCloud cannot provision new workspaces for you.
